grey and marigold–designing a room

I love these colors so much.
They are all over my house.

It started when I saw an advertisement in the October issue of Home Companion (missing that magazine!) for the Ambrosia line by Basic Grey.

I painted our living room and dining room grey last year and decided it was going to be the main neutral in our house.
We have these great black, grey, and yellow damask cushions for our porch chairs (you will like those once I get a nice day to take pictures. actually you will see them all summer and be sick of it).
Grey and yellow also appear in the collage of spray painted and epoxied picture frames on my wall.
And you’ll definitely see these colors popping up in the accessory line I am working on.

If I had an unlimited budget to makeover a room in our house, I’d re-do our bedroom in these colors. Gathering inspiration from online stores, design blogs, and print catalogs like Brocade Home, here is what I’d love to see in my home.
