Where Women Create issue 5: No tricks, all treats

Posted on 31. Oct, 2009 by in business

Happy Halloween everybody! Whether you woke up to excited kids longing to put on costumes and count their candy, or hungover from doin’ purple drank all night on Friday–or both–I hope that you have an exciting and fun day today doing whatever makes you happy.

I have a mission for you today.

1. Go to Barnes & Noble

2. Look for this magazine

3. Buy it! Read it! Love it! Enjoy it! And, of course, turn to page 98 and read the article all about me and my workspace.

You can also buy Where Women Create online or in major bookstores and hobby stores like Hobby Lobby, Joanne’s, Michael’s, and Borders.

I am so proud and humbled to be featured in WWC because it really represents the great diversity of creative women that exist in our community. Shop owners, quilters, mixed media artists, nonprofit organizers, authors, musicians, chefs…I am so happy to read about women in all walks of life and their creative spaces. Everyone has such a different process, such different goals, such different circumstances. I think this magazine will inspire you and I hope it will make you feel part of this wonderland of a community of strong, beautiful, supportive women.

I don’t know what I’m doing tonight for Halloween yet…I have a rush order that I still haven’t finished that is due today, but hopefully I will get a chance to debut my radically hilarious costume at a party tonight–we’ll see!

xo

And don’t forget, you still have until Monday to enter the giveaway for my favorite things!!
