today’s outfit

Today when I was gift shopping I picked up this beautiful poncho designed by Marianne Abelsson. It’s a polyester+viscose knit that retains a wavy shape, it feels as soft as the bellies of newborn kittens, and it looks kind of euro-stylish while hiding my increasingly uncomfortable body. And it’s warm–perfect for these 45-50 degree days we’ve been having lately.

    aah icecream and kitties cuddles, what more do you need? My mum has a poncho-type thing like that, she calls it her “binkie” like a 2 yr olds blanket, it definiately describes the feeling of comfort and warmth…oh so so comfy.

    That poncho would be perfect for me. I’m a bike commuter and not only does Florida not get cold enough to warrant a large coat, but I find they can be a bit constricting in the bike riding position and make me all sweaty.

    I’ll have to grab one of these :D
