Happy anniversary to my parents today!
24 years.

I love you guys. Thank you for showing me what a happy couple is, what a good marriage looks like, and for being so understanding and loving with me and Matt.

Thanks for letting us have pets and track snow inside and use all the cushions in the house for our forts. Thanks for letting me paint on the dining room table and put together my own outfits. Thanks for driving us to all of our activities and practices. Thanks for letting us borrow the car and for always giving us $5 to get some food with our friends.

You are the best parents ever and I hope you are enjoying your empty nest. (Because before long it will be full of tinkertoys and art supplies and couch forts again!)

    I love this post & that your parents allowed you to be creative children. So many parents don’t. You reminded me why we messed up the entire kitchen and living room for an hour of Christmas cookie making…. Its things like that that kids remember!
