what I’m reading

What I’m reading elsewhere on the internet:

1. What we can learn from Lady Gaga via Daily Speculations (and what Startups can learn from Gaga, from Leveraging Ideas)
2. The first three chapters from Hungry Monkey: A food-loving father’s quest to raise an adventurous eater. I’ve had eating issues since birth and this book is calming a lot of my anxieties about getting Alice to become a fearless food lover.
3. How can I use my small space in a high-impact way? This article about the book Not So Big Remodeling from USA Today has some great thoughts.
4. Popular and beautifully inspirational wedding blog Style Me Pretty is looking for contributors!
5. “Why I Won’t Donate to your Auction” by artist Cat Rocketship

i think as long as you expose kids to different foods and encourage them to try them but not forcing them to eat it all you’ll be ok. my boyfriend on the other hand grew up in a house where they served like 5 meals so he is not an adventurous eater in the smallest sense of the word. i’d also recommend the book baby wise. i’ve heard good things about it.

I had food issue too. Not as extensive as yours, but some (mostly texture). Both my boys are fine eaters. The 9 year old is willing to try almost anything. The 6 year old will try it if he can spit out what he doesn’t like. He won’t eat most meat though (which is fine).
I think Alice will be okay Meg
I’m loving the other articles
