Especially since I posted photos and the video from the March 31st fashion show, there’s been a huge spike in your interest for headbands! My friend Naomi, who writes the adorable blog Rockstar Diaries about the life she and her adorable husband (and dog) share in Washington D.C., asked me to do a giveaway for her this week and I thought it’d be a great opportunity to get some of those headbands out my door.
So a few nights ago I made this yellow and gray his and hers boutonniere and headband set. I think the look is perfect for date night.
All you have to do to win the set is go to Naomi’s blog, Rockstar Diaries, and leave a comment. Give it a shot! She didn’t mention it in her post but I’ll also include a bunch of other goodies from my stash that I’ve had in my studio.
If you don’t win, of course you can always contact me for a custom order. It won’t cost you any extra and you can get an original piece that really suits your tastes.
P.S. I’m sending more yellow and gray love to the Lancaster County 4-H who is broadcasting this live feed of their hatching baby chicks! I am totally addicted to watching these guys fall out of their eggs, dry off, and run around in their little box–better than a soap opera.

I made a yellow and grey headband that my husband absolutely hates! It was my first attempt at being crafty…ever!! But, you’re professional and this headband would be much more cute in my hair and I think my husband would actually allow me to wear it. And he’d totally wear the boutonniere!! He loves dressing up when we go out!

I love that headband! I plan weddings so I will be sure to refer girls who prefer the headbands to veils to come here! A lot of girls have been using them for the reception following the ceremony. Love!

can i ask where you found the headband? i am making an attempt to be more girly this summer and my first step will be craft night to make headbands! i haven’t looked yet, but i’m afraid the headband is going to be the hardest thing to find! the random stuff to put on it won’t be a problem, i’m sure.

Wow! How absolutely adorable. I love how matching the pieces are, and the colour of yellow you chose. anyone would be lucky to win these, I highly doubt it will be me. But still they are gorgeous. I’ll be pleased to see who wins.
