I am reading your tweets for updates. Waiting for Alice’s birth story, and how all of you are adjusting to three.
I think my nursing pads probably still remain hidden in a drawer somewhere. The disposable ones were icky, but the washable ones hold up well and you can double up. They do occasionally sneak up and out of your bra, as well as look like headlights under certain garments. Oh well.
And I just bought an HP laptop from Staples-19.6″ screen, for about 600 bucks. It’s very nice-makes my Mac look like a toy. You will need it. There’s nothing like being mobile.
Did you get a snugli and a swing? Two must haves for survical, especially if Alice is a clingon, like my kids were.

You have a women’s health NP/pediatric nurse on retainer. It’s like having a concierge doctor, but free.

When you know, you know. It’s that motherly intuition that will guide you through the rest of her childhood and beyond. Congratulations on your beautiful daughter. I am certain that she’ll grow to be such a wonderful person and couldn’t have two better parents in the world.

Monday’s child is fair of face,
Tuesday’s child is full of grace,
Wednesday’s child is full of woe,
Thursday’s child has far to go.
Friday’s child is loving and giving,
Saturday’s child works hard for a living,
But the child born on the Sabbath Day,
Is fair and wise and good and gay.
Congratulations on the babytron! I had to come out of lurkdom to leave you this poem, that’s been in my head since you posted about knowing you’d have her on Sunday. She’s a doll!
