Cute shoe giveaway! Fabbys–comfortable shoes for women who love heels

So we are way overdue for a giveaway!

Fabbys is a really wonderful company that designed a comfortable pair of shoes that roll up and are easily portable in a clutch or purse. They sent me a pair of their cute flats and asked me to embellish them for a giveaway!

We love high heels. A lot. Stilettos, platforms, wedges, and boots. We heart them all. We wear them to work, to mingle, to play, to dance, and to travel. They make our legs look longer, our ankles look smaller, and our butts look tighter. They make us look fabulous.

Except when we are limping back to the subway station at the end of a long day at the office. Or when they are in our hand, and not on our dirty bare feet walking out of the club. Or when we are doing that weird, painfully lopsided, high-heeled speed walk across the airport, which is like 10 miles long from one end to the other (and why are our connecting flights ALWAYS at opposite terminals?). It is moments like these when we have fleeting thoughts of [gasp] sensible shoes.

The flats I’m giving away are size medium which fits sizes 8-9–however I’m a size 7 and I found them very comfortable. They’re also waterproof and vegan, with a non-slip sole. I have worn Fabbys shoes before at weddings, in airports, and while running laundry around the house. They’re comfy like slippers but cute enough to show off with a nice outfit. They come with a dust bag and a velvet pouch.

I embellished a pair of plain silver flats with flowers made with black vinyl and vintage rhinestone and pearl buttons. There’s only one pair like this in the world so be sure to leave a comment to win them for yourself (or a size 7-8 shoe-wearing friend!).

I also love that the Seattle-based company is women and minority-owned and I love the image they have created through their website–the logo is feminine and clean, the images are professional, and the tone of the copy is conversational and familiar. I know that I always over-analyze these things but to me it really matters in a company.
