We have been doing cloth diapers with Alice Elfie from the beginning and we both love it. After using the occasional disposable diaper, Dave and I have been surprised by how easy the cloth ones are to use. I’m not an “earth mama,” but I feel really accomplished and proud when I think about how good cloth is for Alice’s sensitive little buns and that I’m not contributing to the gross piles of disposable plastic diapers in landfills that won’t break down for hundreds of years.
My friend Kelly Ward, owner of Baby Naturally, LLC is sponsoring a giveaway today of a FuzziBunz one-size diaper. Alice uses these–they can either work as a cover for a prefold diaper or as an all-in-one with a washable insert. At night, we use a prefold WITH the insert so she can stay drier and sleep a little longer.
I also love that Kelly’s company is owned by another working mom like me, and that her job fulfills her passion of creating a natural, organic environment for her son and other children. Kelly also believes in using handmade, repurposed items whenever available and she’s been a great supporter of my business!

Fuzzibunz are my favorite diapers. I have not yet tried their one size but I love love love them! My daughter potty trained so easily using cloth and I can’t wait to cloth diaper my next! I need lots of smaller diapers since I did not start my first on cloth at the beginning.

My husband and I just learned last week that we are expecting!! (We haven’t shared the news with our family yet!). My other child turns 12 in a couple of weeks, so it has been a while since I was pregnant. Things have definitely changed since then, including myself and how I feel about my planet. I am definitely on board with cloth diapering, as is my husband! My mother raised three babies on cloth diapers and I have always admired her for it. Though I used to think it was a generational thing. But I have to come learn of the importance and health benefits and I am super excited to do it this way this time! I would love to win this giveaway! And now I’m going to go check out Kelly’s website and start making a shopping list! Thanks Megan!

Great giveaway idea! I love cloth diapering my 9 week old son. I really wish there was more clear information out there about how easy it is to do it yourself because it would encourage more people to give it a try. Good for you for posting adorable pics of your daughter modeling her cloth diapers. There is nothing cuter to me than a little tush in a colorful diaper! Maybe you could do a post about your cloth diapering routine.
