my weekend

Posted on 14. Jul, 2010 by in CAMP, personal, photos

Back to moving now.

Categories…(I can’t start to pack until I have boxes categorized)
felt
buttons (two huge trash cans full) (trash cans are good for moving things)
things to give away (to you)
finished inventory
supplies to make headbands
fabric and sewing
scissors (yes, a box)
adhesives
supplies for new projects (like a Clover stitching tool and a huge roll of pink vintage lace)
things that go on top of my desk
paper (good) (cupcake stationery from my friend Amy, custom letterpressed cards from my friend Lesley)
paper (boring) (tax records, employee paperwork, reordering forms)
art and design books (to share with visitors and idly flip through during breaks at CAMP)

The desks are all in.
The couch is in.
The two big purple chairs are in.
The lockers are in.
Now…looking for a bookshelf, a rug, and a mini bar. And chairs. Comfy and ergonomic and extremely expensive, or simple with straight backs and arms (like in a coffeehouse)?

Opening party July 30th. More details soon at the CAMP website.

Take a look at the HAG Capisco chair. The good, ergonomic, expensive type, but probably the best chair I’ve bought in my entire life. Great thing about this one is you can work either with your back to the backrest, like you would in a normal chair, or with your chest to it, so you can give your back a rest.

I was wondering if Alice likes the lake…looks like she’s a natural @ having her toes in the sand. CAMP sounds exciting and cutting edge (I was just reading about the co-working trend a few months ago). I’m not surprised you’re ahead of the curve. Entreprenuership and creativity run in your genes (thank both your mom & dad!)! Congrats on your new venture!

Aw, super cute. Is this at Lake Okoboji? Husband just took us there to show the boys where he used to camp when he was little. It was sweet:).
