yesterday’s outfit

Wait till you see what I’m gonna wear tonight!
I guess it’s no big deal…nothing crazy or wild. Just really beautiful.
Hopefully there will be tons of fancy professional pictures from tonight that I can repost here in the coming days. Right now I’m sitting with all of my models at our table backstage, waiting for rehearsal to start. Things are running late.

What I love most about my show is that I feel that it’s very REAL. The stylists are my friends. The models are my friends. They all have their own looks and strong personalities–a short bleach-blonde pixie cut, long black Cher Hair, all different sizes, pale, tan, olive-skinned, from 5’0 to 5’10. I hope that every woman can see herself in one of my dresses, in one of my models. I want the audience to see them and think “She looks like a great friend.”

Anyway until then, here are some pictures from yesterday.
From like 3:30am
We weren’t in a rush, I was hanging out with Eric, eating pizza. Everything was done last week. We just stayed up late hanging out. He worked on my website for the dresses. I made prize ribbon pins for my friends and family to wear at the show.

Navy Dress: Ann Taylor Loft (I love the big ruffle around the collar)
Colorful Dress: Anne Pinkerton (it’s actually a robe thing)
Brooches: Vintage
Ring: Forever 21
Shoes: Crocs

You can still come tonight and buy a ticket at the door! There’s a huge heated tent.

How in the world do you look so amazing at 3:30 am? I can’t wait for tonight. Although, I need to find something to wear before I can actually show up!!
