today’s outfit!

Tonight I went to see The Pixies with my friend John and his brother and cousin. Now its 3am and I’m back at CAMP with my assistant Shannon and her husband Greg working and listening to music.

I’m into this skirt length now.

There are three bows on the back of this dress–it’s actually a dress, but I thought it was too short for tonight. It’s good for the gay dance club but otherwise it needs a longer skirt over it. I love putting different shirts or skirts over dresses. If you really like a dress but it’s getting overplayed, you can just show the bodice or the skirt then.

    Having seen photos of you in this skirt and a slightly shorter one, my 2 cents is that your best look is an on-the-knee length. This pink (?) one is a great skirt, it’s just a little long for a lady your height. I’ve found myself that, especially in bold colors, skirts that are too long can easily overwhelm a small frame.

    The best part is that I’m sure you’re great at sewing in case you want to adjust your hems :)
