2011 is going to be our year. I’m going to write a book, hire another employee and grow CAMP, our creative coworking space here in Omaha, teach my kid some super rad stuff, and do a lot more speaking and event planning for local entrepreneurs and marketers. I’m ready to put 2009 away in the books and open up a fresh, clean new year.

What are your intentions for 2011? SAY them! Write them down. Tell your friends. It will give your plans strength, you won’t be tempted to give up, and you can stay more focused on your path.  At the same time, I think it’s important to always be open to new opportunities and aware of your trajectory. For example, in 2010 my goal was to write a book, but as the vision and scope of CAMP Coworking grew, I decided it would be smartest to put that goal aside for next year–and after doing that, I was asked by Jenny Doh to contribute to her upcoming book, Signature Styles. (Pre-order it today!) It’s as if by being aware, intentional, and present in your every day  life, everything will balance out.

Those are my parting words for 2010. Make it pretty and see you in two-thousand-and-HEAVEN!
