Today Mr. Lasertron and I took a break and did some carousing and gallivanting alone around Omaha together. We set out with the mission of doing our Christmas gift shopping but didn’t find anything we liked. I did get a chocolate eclair and slice of banana walnut cake, though!

I also got one completely unexpected special gift in the mail from an amazing paper artist I met last month, Rachel Martin, owner of 2 Martins in a Nest. I positively DROOLED over this headband when I met her, and yesterday I opened my mailbox to find it waiting for me! Christmas!

Rachel makes beautiful paper flowers detailed with rare vintage buttons and ephemera, and she even made her own wedding bouquet out of her lovely paper flowers!     what is is about this past week!? my boyfriend decided to stop shaving for a month just to see what it would look like…it wasn’t cute ( luckily he went to the barber and they shaved it off haha!)

    How tall is Dave? Is he standing on something or is he *really* that much taller than you?
    Love the shoes!….but, What happened to your leg in the picture on the right….way up there? I scrolled back up to see if I could see a reflection in the mirror of the type of heel on your shoes. I didn’t notice your disappearing leg the first time I looked at the photos.

        Haha! i wondered bcoz last month was grow a tash for charity month for mens health i think, so many men at my office had facial hair…. it wasnt a good look for most of them!
