today’s outfit

Yes, this is a daily style blog now.
Just kidding.
I’ve just been trying harder than usual lately with my wardrobe.

After four years doing lots of tiny detail work and embroidery I started needing glasses. I don’t usually wear them but during long work sessions I’ve gotta whip em out!

I just leave them at work.

Top: Target
Leggings: Target
Necklaces: Tiny Hands International
Shoes: Urban Outfitters…the brand is worn off, I don’t even remember what brand they are. I got them in high school!
Ring: Fred Flare
Earrings: Vintage
Glasses: Oscar & Fitch

    Hey Megs! A message back from my little bro:

    “So cool about the jewelry, and yes, it would be so nice to have that store up and running. Unfortunately it’s not just an issue of getting the website set up, the real issue is that we deal with factories in Nepal and small businesses that make consistent inventory, shipping, etc very hard to predict. We never really know what will be coming when, and if we run out, there is a reasonable chance that one piece of jewelry or one scarf color, or whatever, won’t be available. Plus we deal with mostly volunteers who can’t spend a lot of time doing inventory on what we have. The good news is that we may be hiring a
    full time staff to only oversee our product, which would be huge. If that happens, we could really tighten things up to the point where an online store could be feasible.

    Its amazing to see jewelry on people I’ve never met. Tiny Hands is really growing. Do tell your friend that we very much appreciate any advocates out there telling people about our work!”

    Hi! I just recently found your site and I love your style! I’ve found your pregnancy outfits to be particularly inspirational to me. I’m now 13 weeks and have been scouring the internet for stylish pregnancy ‘muses’ to help me figure out how to make my wardrobe last longer. Thanks for the great daily outfits posts!

      I LOVE them and wear em nonstop. they’re actually like a denim print/knit legging…super cheap looking but comfy, stretchy, and I love them.

    I got it at a fundraiser at the College of Hair Design fashion show! I showed there and bought like a million things at their little storefront. Scarves, jewelry, bags…it’s all the best!

        Also, I’ll mention to my brother that they need to get the online store up & running–I’ve been checking their site as well, because I wanted one of the scarves. Anyway, so glad you support them!

    oh i love the outfit today, we just found out that we here in Canada will be getting Targets by 2012.. swoon! Also, I am very jealous of your feet not changing since high school. My feet grew half a size during my pregnancy and have not gone back :( all my flats are too small, and i will be very sad come summertime. but I guess that means a little new shoe shopping will have to be done :)
