woodlands bouquet–new for you!

Posted on 17. Jan, 2011 by in bouquets, business

One of my goals in hiring an assistant and taking on interns was finding more time to work on the designs and projects that I have always wanted to do. I love working with unusual materials, finding ways to integrate pieces from my collection of vintage notions into flowers, and trying new color combinations that my customers don’t normally choose.

The Woodlands Bouquet is the first in a series of bouquets that are just that! The flower arrangements of my dreams that I have always wanted to make. I love tweed and wood elements and used vintage fabric and buttons to put together this bouquet, perfect for the bride who is a lover of natural elements and outdoor inspiration. It includes lovingly hand-embroidered details, 100% wool tweed, wooden and vintage plastic buttons, and faux branches of pussy willows. The handle is wrapped with vintage silk seam binding found on a trip in Paris!

I uploaded the Woodlands Bouquet to the Princess Lasertron store for you to scoop up! I’m also trying something new..you can buy it now through Paypal by clicking the little button! (I kinda want someone to buy it that way so I can see if it works!)

–edit–
SOLD! The button worked. Thanks, Liz!

That is beautiful! I can definitely see non-brides getting this for their home — or maybe as a mother’s day gift?

Have you thought about using http://www.dwolla.com for your sales? It’s only 25 cents per transaction. :-)

YES! I love dwolla so much! I can’t figure out how to send an invoice via email though. I know they just rolled that feature out and I’m still trying to figure out how to use it for my purposes. I really want to completely replace paypal with it.

Oh, that’s a really beautiful colour/texture combination, especially against the sage dress – I love it. I’d buy it, but I think my boyfriend would start getting worried if a bouquet turned up at the door.
