today’s outfit–styled at Scout!

A few days ago, the organizers of Omaha Fashion Week asked me to style some looks for them to use in an upcoming issue of their magazine. I headed over to Scout, my favorite little boutique right in my neighborhood, and put this awesome little number together. And of course I bought everything (the downside of styling!).

Dress: didn’t have a tag…bought it at Scout! Cape: vintage (it’s mine, but I bought at Scout too months ago…) Necklace: Fossil; Clutch: vintage; Tights: We Love Colors; Shoes: vintage

    I cannot handle how amazingly cute this outfit is on you. Now I want to go find my own capes and Mondrian inspired wonder dresses and play in the sun all day tomorrow.

    Wow, that dress is amazing! It looks like a Mondrian painting. I live in Seattle, where people seem to be fearful of bright colors, so this brings me extra happiness.
