valentine headband – new for you!

A few weeks ago we were embroidering swallows for an upcoming order and had a few extra–I decided they would be perfect on a fascinator headband.
This headband is made with antique lace, a big vintage fabric flower that I bought at an estate sale a few years ago embellished with felt posie petals and two beautiful red buttons, and a few stems of button flowers. The embroidered felt swallow is also a detachable pin. There is a place to pin it on the headband, or you can remove it and add it to your lapel, hat, bag, bulletin board…
