karin’s flowers

Posted on 21. Mar, 2011 by in bouquets

Karin is a friend of mine and one of my few beloved local brides. She and her sister have modeled for me in all of my shows and I have loved getting to know her in the past few years.

Karin isn’t carrying a bouquet, but I did make some special corsages and boutonnieres for her wedding party. She was inspired by some of the tweed posie pins I made last fall, but I wanted to use some gauzy organza and silk to bring the tweed into spring for her vintage-inspired barn wedding.

You can also check out Karin and Jeremy’s wedsite and blog. I love that they followed along with December’s Radvent project as well!

Congratulations Karin and Jeremy! See more pictures of Karin’s flowers on Flickr.

Those corsages are so awesome. I love what you did with the edges and the peachy pink color is lovely.

Love these. So different and yet they still feel familiar.
