Signature Styles: reserve your copy of my print debut

Last year–around this time–I was contacted by author and crafty entrepreneur Jenny Doh about contributing to her latest book, Signature Styles. This book offers profiles of 20 creatives who share lots of great photos of them in their studio spaces and explain their style influences, whether it be in fashion or art or decor or whatever. Each of us also shares a step-by-step project that represents our signature techniques. I teach how to make an awesome felt cuff bracelet that is actually featured on the cover! So the book is basically a studio tour and a one-on-one workshop from all of these amazing designers.

When Jenny contacted me about participating in the book I was nine months pregnant and we had to do the photoshoot for the book really quickly–I remember the deadline for the photos being right around my due date. Jenny was super nice and gave me an extension and I did the photoshoot when Alice was a week old AND that week we were also moving into CAMP. It was a tough deadline and I love looking at the photos because it really reminds me of that important transitional period into starting our coworking space and becoming a mom.

The book comes out May 1st.
We will have a book release party at CAMP that day.
