amy’s flowers
Posted on 05. Jun, 2011 by Princess Lasertron in bouquets
Amy…the sweetest girl. She sent me a gigantic box of the most thoughtful, meaningful, personal objects and I was able to use almost all of them to create a bouquet unlike any other I’ve ever made.
Tiny earrings from grandma, pins and cufflinks, scraps of leather, millinery bees and butterflies, charms, seashells, cockle burrs, marbles, suspender straps…the selection of odds and ends I had to work with was so inspiring.

LOVE that picture of the groom as a child!
We also did a little flower girl bouquet full of sunflowers.

This bride’s creativity blew my mind. I just sent the package off to her yesterday–that’s the scariest part for me. The part when I’m waiting to hear the reaction when she finally gets to hold the flowers in her hands.
See the rest of Amy’s flowers on Flickr.

Ahhhh….! I’ve been trying all day to find the perfect combination words to convey my deepest joy and admiration of your incredible skills with designing my order! You took all my obscure, random, favorite things and turned them into the most beautiful keepsake, and I will be forever grateful of the time and energy that you devoted to me! These bouquets turned out more beautiful than I ever could have imagined!! I LOVE the leather, and the subdued colors mixed in with fluttering bees and butterflies! Not to mention how you used those old suspender hooks as the leaves on the corsages– that was genious! I knew those would come in handy!
You continue to impress me with each new post, and I look forward to sharing pictures of our ceremony/ party with you all!
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU, Megan!!! You are incredible!
more to come soon….. xo Amy

well becky, if he doesn’t bite on the first anniversary, i think the third anniversary is leather…so something like this would be absolutely appropriate!

Megan – these are AWESOME!!! Love that they’re an artistic representation of everything important to the bride and groom. So symbolic and just GORGEOUS to look at too! Well done! This is exactly what I’m going to be looking for for my wedding next year

OH Megan those are so beautiful! I’m always amazed at how deeply personal these bouquets can be. The bride’s is just so gorgeous and meaningful.
And may I say I absolutely love the sunflowers. Our wedding this Friday is Bunny & Sunflower themed so I think the flower girl bouquet is my favorite that you’ve done!
