today’s outfit: welcome to the neighborhood, fall!

Today was a normal day at the office with a few evening meetings in bars for happy hour.

I love to get work done over drinks and tiny bar pizzas. Our new intern Anna started this afternoon.

Right now we are talking a lot about refining our goals for 2012 and evaluating what happened in 2011. Personally I’m developing inspiration for our next collection which will most likely feature separates inspired by how in many cultures around the world isolated from our mainstream media messages, fashion and clothing evolve in a vacuum. (If a tree falls in the forest with no one around, does it make a sound? If fashion develops in East Germany in 1973, could it matter to any other culture?) The inspiration is still evolving. I’m paying attention to where it takes me.

Boots: TOMS (my Valentine’s Day present from Mr. Lasertron last year)
Bag: Kimchi Blu
Pin: a gift from Cricut at the Creative Connection Event. I wear it with everything.

Do you have an accessory that you wear with everything?
I admit I’m kind of notorious for it.

    I cycle through accessories, but one of them is a cute little hat I bought on Whyte Ave in Edmonton. Also scarves. Many many scarves!
