flowers for leanne and jeff’s wedding

Posted on 19. Oct, 2011 by in bouquets

Leanne and Jeff are a couple in Whitehorse, Canada who planned a completely DIY wedding. Leanne’s friend Johanna, who contacted me to coordinate the bouquet order, told me that Leanne had planned to make her own bouquet but in the midst of creating her bridesmaids’ dresses, her own dress, all the boutonnieres and extra bouquets–plus designing and coordinating all the style and decor they brought to their Yukon wedding–she found little time to create flowers of her own.

Johanna and the rest of the bridesmaids asked me to create a country-inspired bouquet for Leanne with sunflower shapes, and then we later decided to add butterflies. Here is what I came up with and it arrived just in the nick of time for her wedding to Jeff in Whitehorse!

Alice says, “I’m not touching it. And if I AM, I’m only touching a LITTLE bit.”

Congratulations again Leanne and Jeff! I wish you a lifetime of happiness together.

Beautiful. I’m intrigued by the huge pom flowers for Alison, what do they look like?
