A few weeks ago, one of our brides Sarah Rose married her fiance Benjamin. While I eagerly await photos from their big day–I can’t wait to see how the venue looked, it sounds amazing, which I will get to in a minute–I wanted to share the work we did for Sarah Rose and Ben with you.

Sarah Rose and Ben’s wedding was in an old warehouse in Cleveland that was originally used for building torpedoes in World War II. It later became the creative studios for American Greetings, and now the space serves as a collective building of artists’ studios and galleries. It sounds a little like Hot Shops, the old warehouse building just south of my studio in north downtown Omaha that houses creative studios.
We did a bridal bouquet for Sarah, five bouquets for her bridesmaids, as well as corsages and boutonnieres for others in the wedding party. Sarah’s bouquet was a simple posie bouquet with a few fabulous additions to elevate the value a bit–tiny hand-stitched sunflowers, green leaves, and some extra embroidered flowers for good measure.

Congratulations again to Sarah Rose and Ben. See the rest of their photos here in their Flickr set.

This one is my absolute favorite. The colors, the flowers, the buttons, everything about this bouquet makes me smile.
