zoe’s bouquet

Posted on 03. Jun, 2012 by in the big days

When Zoe, an New Zealand bride, contacted me about creating a “crafty, low-fuss, and quirky” bouquet for her wedding by the sea to her fiance Owen, here’s what I put together for her!

Lately I’ve really loved using vintage pearls, rhinestones, and crystals to embellish bouquets of brides who aren’t afraid of a little bling. I also use she oddly shaped pearls from vintage jewelry with that soft beige patina to add a antique touch to bouquets for brides who love vintage details. It’s a fun way to challenge myself skill-wise and I’ve had a lot of fun playing with these materials lately.

See more photos from Zoe’s bouquet (and four hairpieces I made for her) here in her Flickr set.

Oh, I love this one! The style is sort of different and I love that because you’re starting a new adventure and trying new things. Zoe is a lucky bride… this is GOREGOUS!

Oh, I love the blue ones that look like peonies or mums! Haven’t seen you use those before.
