hand-dyed felt in cotton candy and lemon lime!

I’ve been dying my own felt for years but I don’t usually do it for every bouquet–just when I need an unusual, hard-to-find color. I soak virgin white wool-blend felt in a hot dye bath for 5-10 minutes, rinse it, and gently wash it to get an even color. Then I iron it flat and thin to get rid of the nubbiness of the washed wool–some people like it, I don’t so much. With the last batch I made, I decided to make some extra to see how it would sell in the shop.

This felt is a wool/rayon blend, dyed in signature shades of lemon-lime and cotton candy pink. I’m selling it by the quarter-yard and it’s just $4 plus shipping per piece. That’s on the low end of the price spectrum because I’m able to get my felt pretty cheaply from a special source.

Check these listings out in my store and help yourself! If it does well, I’ll keep the new colors coming.
