on my table: red flowers and new orders

I lost my charger for my nice camera when I moved out of CAMP, and my battery finally ran out. So now I’m just relying on my iPhone for photos until I get a new charger. Here’s what’s on my tabletop today.

I’m making these boutonnieres for a bride named Melissa. I’m really enjoying it because the pattern is similar on each one (which is easier for me to do), but there are little variations between each pin that let me add some creativity and individuality.

Pretty much living in my office, obviously.

Lately I’m really into working with monochromatic palettes–red on red, blue on blue, black on black, with some slight contrast. (Not a lot of that here today on these flowers, but the red-on-red was kind of exciting for me.) I’d really like to do an all-black bouquet with velvet embellishments, or an all-white bouquet with a ton of pearls–a little surprised no one has requested that yet. If you want to do one, talk to me! I’d be happy to do it at a discount.
