surprise bouquet for a friend’s rehearsal dinner

One of my friends from high school contacted me recently about making a bouquet as a gift for another one of our friends’ rehearsal dinner. Her wedding is coming up soon and one of her bridesmaids wanted to give her a felt bouquet with her colors and flowers. It’s fun to make gifts like that–something that’s going to be a total happy surprise for the bride.

Also I love making pom flowers. They’re pretty quick and take lots of snipping. Snip snip.

The stem is wrapped in vintage seam binding that I found at a flea market in France when I went with my school in 2008–I only have a little bit and this was the perfect use. Just a nice little memento for a friend.

Btw, have you ever made callas with the button stamens/middle piece? Very cool. I want this bouquet :)

I love this, Megan! The blush color is so pretty and I like the callas too. What a lucky bride/friend :)
